I'm only a little customer but they treated me as if I was spending thousands.
I have no other connection with the company and live 160 miles south of them.

Anyone thinking of leaving BT should really consider Premitel for their VOIP services. Following the loss of our line due to slamming and BT leaving our business with no services, we had no option but to find alternative solutions. Having been loyal to BT for over thirty years, we were forced to buy Starlink and source our VOIP services through Premitel. Stephen helped us through the process and provided the support that is lacking from the large companies, that have little or no interest in SME business.

Fantastic communication from the outset, and setup with no issues.

Not only is the product serving purpose very well with very attractive pricing for a small domestic user, but the customer service is excellent. I have been able every time to either get straight through to a real person, with no queuing or button pressing on choices restricted to the irrelevant, let alone having to listen for ages to annoying muzak, at all, or to get a return call back made to me very soon. Which seems a golden rarity these days.
I had been attempting to switch to broadband providers who would keep my original home phone number without interruptions to the service; however, that turned out to be next to impossible in spite of assurances and supposed guarantees to the contrary. Premitel gives me the peace of mind knowing that I now retain my original house phone number whatever broadband I may switch to.
Great!

Being unsure about VoIP, I did a lot of research. Premitel showed good knowledge without being patronising and excellent customer service, even before I joined. Would recommend if you are thinking of switching over.

If you are thinking of (or are, like me, forced into) a switch to VoIP then look no further than Premitel. The switch to Digital Voice over the landline that was proposed by my previous provider just would not work with my current set up (a Smart 5G hub powered by EE) so, regretfully, after some considerable time with them, I needed VoIP. Premitel are local to me and indicated that I could retain my old landline number so I contacted them. Stephen was my contact and he has been very responsive and, I might add, patient with my lack of understanding of how it works. The Premitel offer is remarkably good start gin with the trial which, had it not worked, was fully refundable. I am able to use my old DECT cordless phones by using an ATA (Analogue Telephone Adapter) which plugs into the internet and the DECT base station.

The whole process was simple timely - on the day of the number switch I was informed by Stephen just after 9am that it was complete! - and he kept me informed of progress and answered my beginner questions throughout. One last thing to note is that the pricing plans are flexible and very low cost at £5 per month for a suitable plan. All this and the company is based quite close to me in East Lothian (though the services are not bound by location) so a local business get the benefit.

I have no hesitation in recommending Premitel Communications and their VoIP service for home use and I am certain that the business side of things will be just as good and professional.

Smooth transition from BT, very professional, can't fault the service from Premitel.

Prompt and helpful replies and an ability to speak to someone who was patient and constructive despite my total inability to set up the system (subsequently delegated to my son). We communicated over a 4 month period. The system now works well.

The service is very good, I like especially the mobile app where I can receive calls when I'm not at home.
The tariffs are extremely low and the customer service is excellent. Stephen was very patient with me during the set-up phase (long delays from Openreach for the activation of fibre line) and his instructions were extremely clear.
