The Fanvil GA10 VoIP adaptor enables an analogue phone to connect to a VoIP phone service.
It connects to any internet connection via a spare ethernet port on a router or network switch.
The GA10 is supplied with a UK mains power supply and an adaptor which enables UK phones to be connected.
A UK analogue phone can simply plug into the RJ11 phone socket using the supplied adaptor.
The GA10 is ideal for situations in which a single analogue phone is required to connect to a VoIP phone service.
This would also apply to multi-handset DECT cordless phones .
In this case the cordless phone base would connect to the GA10.
If multiple analogue phones need to be connected to a VoIP phone service using existing extension wiring, or if a loud bell needs to be connected, then we would recommend the more powerful Grandstream HT801.
The Grandstream HT801 also supports visual and audible indication of voicemail by means of a flashing light and interrupted dial tone.
The GA10 does not support this and the user would have to rely on email alerts to indicate a new voicemail message.
The GA10 is designed to connect to a VoIP phone service where a traditional landline is not required or is not available (eg fibre-to-the-premises broadband connections).
Although the Fanvil GA10 adaptor can be connected to any VoIP phone service, we supply it pre-configured for connection to the Premitel VoIP Phone Service.
It is therefore ready to use immediately and is supplied with a call bundle of 20 minutes of UK landline and mobile calls for use during a 14 day trial period.
A UK number (or transfer of an existing number) is included in the price.
If the Fanvil GA10, or the Premitel VoIP Phone Service, is not suitable you can return the GA10 as new within one month for a full refund.
Alternatively, the GA10 can easily be reset to its default settings and configured for connection to another VoIP phone service.
Please note that we are unable to offer any advice on connecting the Fanvil GA10 to other VoIP internet phone services.
