Description

The Grandstream HT801 VoIP adaptor enables analogue phones to connect to a fibre broadband phone service.

It connects to any internet connection via a spare ethernet port on a router or network switch.

The HT801 is supplied with a UK mains power supply and adaptors which enable UK phones to be connected.

A UK analogue phone can simply plug into the RJ11 phone socket using the supplied adaptor.

The HT801 also enables analogue devices such as loud bells to be used on a VoIP service.

We have successfully tested the HT801 with an external bell 80D.

We also supply a lead which enables the HT801 to connect to an existing phone socket.

This enables multiple extension phones to be connected to the HT801 using existing extension wiring and sockets.

Please note that this option requires the external phone line to be physically disconnected from the master socket.

The HT801 is designed to connect to a VoIP phone service where a traditional landline is not required or is not available (eg fibre-to-the-premises broadband connections).

Although the  Grandstream HT801 adaptor can be connected to any VoIP phone service, we supply it pre-configured for connection to the Premitel VoIP Phone Service.

It is therefore ready to use immediately and is supplied with a call bundle of 20 minutes of UK landline and mobile calls for use during a 14 day trial period.

A UK number (or transfer of an existing number) is included in the price, but this will only be issued after a direct debit mandate has been set up for continued use of the service after the trial period.

After the 14 day trial period, the Premitel VoIP Phone Service would be charged at the current tariff rate.

If the Grandstream HT801 or the Premitel VoIP Phone Service is not suitable you can return the HT801 as new within one month for a full refund

Alternatively,  the HT801 can easily be reset to its default settings and configured for connection to another VoIP internet phone service.

Please note that we are unable to offer any advice on connecting the Grandstream HT801 to other VoIP internet phone services.
