The Grandstream HT801 VoIP adaptor enables analogue phones to connect to a fibre broadband phone service.
It connects to any internet connection via a spare ethernet port on a router or network switch.
The HT801 is supplied with a UK mains power supply and adaptors which enable UK phones to be connected.
A UK analogue phone can simply plug into the RJ11 phone socket using the supplied adaptor.
The HT801 also enables analogue devices such as loud bells to be used on a VoIP service.
We have successfully tested the HT801 with an external bell 80D.
We also supply a lead which enables the HT801 to connect to an existing phone socket.
This enables multiple extension phones to be connected to the HT801 using existing extension wiring and sockets.
Please note that this option requires the external phone line to be physically disconnected from the master socket.
The HT801 adaptor is pre-configured for the Premitel VoIP phone service for a no obligation trial period of one month.
It can therefore be used straight out of the box with no configuration required.
During the trial you can use 15 minutes per day of calls to UK landline and mobile number at no extra cost.
If you do not wish to use the Premitel VoIP phone service then the HT801 can easily be reset to its default settings for connection to any VoIP service.
Please note that we don’t offer any advice on connecting the Grandstream HT801 to other VoIP internet phone services.
After the trial period the Premitel VoIP phone service costs £6 pm and includes all UK landline and mobile calls.
We can transfer your existing phone number to the Premitel VoIP service at no extra cost.
